News

Taylor Park will be open seven days a week beginning Thursday, September 1st. Please note that if the ground is wet the park is CLOSED. If your dog is causing footprints, etc, the ground is too soft. The Lister Park is open daily regardless of the weather.

Membership renewals are due. If you have yet to return your membership forms, please do so. If you need another copy of the forms, email me and I'll send them. Last year's dog park tags are no longer current.

FYI: The next dog park meeting will be held in October. Please come...your opinion counts!! If you like the way things are being run, great! Join the board to ensure that things stay the same. If you have been unhappy with things, that's OK too... Join the board and help change things for the better.

Questions? Email me...

Finally, Nick and Brutus (and me) will be leaving the neighborhood at the end of this month. I am hoping to still come to the parks on the weekends so we can continue to see everyone. I have loved being a part of the CWE Dog Parks and will miss it terribly. From a business standpoint, I will continue to serve as President until elections are held in January. Hope to see you all soon!!

If you have any questions, feel free to email Sarah Murphy.

About us

CWEDP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) founded in 2001 to create multi-acre, fenced-in, safe recreational areas for dog owners and their dogs in the Central West End.   These dog parks promote social interaction of people and dogs, thereby making the community more attractive to new residents, increasing green space, reducing crime, and fostering cohesive communities.  Currently, the CWEDP is funded by one corporate sponsor, Coffee Cartel, and membership fees.
